A simple kitten and boat game for Sylvie's Jam #1
Collect coins and avoid the jellyfish.

Controls:
Move Kitten: Left click or Z.
Push Boat: Right click or X.
Zoom camera: Scroll wheel or up and down arrow keys.

Tools I Used:
Made with Godot engine
Sounds made with Chiptone
Sprites made with paint.net

World's Smallest Devlog:
I tried to make everything with shaders, but it took too long.
The islands, kitten, wind gusts, coins, and jellyfish are entirely shaders.
Everything else is a sprite, as usual.
Even though the jam description says "You're strongly encouraged to only spend a small amount of time on your game,"
I might have put too much time in it.

I loved it when the kitty jumped off the boat onto the island, it was so cute!

I really liked how the jellyfish didn't destroy the boat in one go, but gradually destroyed it, and I thought it was a good balance to play the game!

And after all, I love fish barriers!

Nice job, this was cool. Working primarily with shaders sounds like a fun challenge. I couldn't figure out the boat repair puzzle though - any tips on that?

Thank you. I don't know about this kind of puzzle in general, but in this instance it can be solved with a symmetrical pattern of clicks. (For example, the edges, then the corners)
